Grants are money awarded to students who demonstrate financial need. This money is applied to the students’ educational expenses and need never be repaid.
Students have opportunities to qualify for the following grants:
Federal Pell Grant

A grant that students may apply for in the first year of their program. The maximum annual amount for this grant is $4,000.
Student State Incentive Grant (SSIG)
A grant program administered through the students' state of residence. It is the state that determines eligibility and the transportability of the grant. Not all states participate in the SSIG program, so students should contact their local authorities. Currently Ohio, Rhode Island and Vermont participate with Ohio Technical College.
